Grandma Judy came for a visit February 17th through 20th in preparation for coming in March to watch the kids while Kyle and I went on a trip I earned to Punta Cana. The kids were out of school for some break so there was plenty of time to play.
She brought her old doll clothes and the girls loved playing with them!
We took Grandma to Biscuit Co:
Then went for a quick walk at the Nature Center
We took a trip to Exploration Place on Tuesday. The kids love this science museum, much more interactive. We get in free with our Minnesota Science Museum membership, well until it expires in July... which since everything is closed we probably won't be going back on that membership but will prob get on since they like it so much.
There was a new exhibit we hadn't seen yet.
On the way home we decided to be adventurous and try this shady place for bierocks. My mom had read about them and wanted to try. I'd driven by this place numerous times (it's down the road from us) but it is SOOOO sketchy! Luckily no one got food poisoning, the kids actually liked the ham and cheese ones and it was pretty tasty.
Grandma got to see the girls attend their Tuesday night ballet and tap class.
Wednesday we met Kyle for lunch at a german place we'd been wanting to try, called Prost, but the hours were funky and there wasn't a good time to go in the evening with everyone. Kinda glad we didn't cuz it was more enjoyable just the four of us (Grandma, Kyle, me and Thomas)
This was the Käsespätzle (house-made noodles with melted Swiss cheese & grilled onions served with our house salad)
