Project 52 {weeks 48-52}
Well I made it! 52 weeks of photos! I haven't been the best about posting them, but at least I've been snapping pictures :-) Here are the last five weeks:
Week 48
The last few weeks of pregnancy (weeks 40-42) began to get long. Luckily (and oddly enough) the weather was still warm and I was able to take Harpo for a walk to the dog park. One last time before he became a big brother and before he became a little more neglected. Although Christmas day we returned to this dog park on a walk with the whole family - yes it was about 40 degrees on Christmas day here, bizarre!
Week 49
This was in the hospital later the same morning after Isaac was born on Sunday, December 4th.
Week 50
My friend, Rhiannon, sent this darling hat to us as a shower gift for Isaac. Isn't he darling in it! And it'll make a fun newborn photo prop too!
Week 51
Harpo has been an excellent big brother. He likes it most when Isaac gets down on his level. He stays pretty close to him.
Week 52
Christmas isn't complete without a little baby love and tree light bokeh! Isaac is 3 weeks old here.

Project 52 {weeks 45-47}
Week 45
I had these fun labels made to put on all the random stuff I've been making :-) It took them a while to make/ship (from Hong Kong) but I was pretty excited when they finally made it to me!
Week 46
While waiting for baby to arrived, I knitted a few hats. I first knitted a bigger one (the one in the back) but thought it was a little big and wanted to adjust some of my settings to the pattern I made up... so I made a smaller one which I still found some adjustments to be made if I make anymore.
Week 47
Harpo is soaking up all the love he can get these last few weeks before the baby arrives. Although he is still part of the family and will continue to get love, he's just going to be sharing the spot light soon :-)

Photo 44
44/52
It's Fall! Well the leaves started falling a while ago. But it was Friday and I was running out the door to work, realized I didn't get a picture yet this week so thought I'd be creative with my camera phone :-) phew almost missed a week.

Project 52 {weeks 38-42}
Week 38:
I took this photo with my phone. I was at work one evening and it was rather slow, so some friends and I pulled out the little ultrasound machine to take a look at baby boy! He's got the cutest little pointy nose :-) And his hand is resting on his chest. It took us 30 minutes to locate the face, lol.
Week 39:
This little chipmunk was right outside our front door. There is a little family that lives in our neighbors bush. He was so cute with his full little cheeks!
Week 40:
Last year was the first year we watched the Twin Cities marathon. This year we had a friend running and I was looking forward to watching the runners! We went to two different spots. This was at the 23 miles marker on Summit Ave in St. Paul. There's our friend Zack running along.
Week 41:
For one of my baby shower's my lovely host, Rachel, made a cute little pumpkin sign that reads 'Baby Boy'
Week 42:
My mom was in town visiting for the weekend. We took an evening stroll around the Sculpture Garden. This was a beautiful dahlia, really the only color left in the park.

Project 52 {weeks 29-37}
Week 29
(July 16-22)
We had a weekend camping trip with our church's newly married group. It was a hot weekend, but nice to get at least one weekend of camping in this summer. In this photo Kyle & Enoch are out in the kayak's another friend brought for everyone to enjoy.
Week 30
(July 23-29)
Yeah for visual progress, it's so nice having the framing up to actually get a visual of what our new basement space will look like. They also installed the EGress window today, which you can't see in this photo.
Week 31
(July 30-Aug 5)
Spent a lovely few days visiting my friend Blair in Houston. The first day I was there we went to a beach in Galveston. Of course I was visiting in almost the hottest time of the year!
Week 32
(Aug 6-12)
First baseball game of the season we attended. It was a beautiful night!
Week 33
(Aug 13-19)
My mom sent me these beautiful flowers for my birthday :-) only one year in the 20's left.
Week 34
(Aug 20-26)
Our only trip up to the North Shore this summer, was a day trip to Gooseberry Falls State Park for a short little hike around their hiking club trail. As usual, it's beautiful up there! So glad we were able to make it up for a visit this summer.
Week 35
(Aug 27-Sept 2)
We spent a week visiting my brother in Los Angeles, California. This picture was taken in Newport Beach near the tide pools.
Week 36
(Sept 3-9)
While in LA, I tried some Boba Tea while we were out at a Thai restaurant. It is basically Thai iced tea with tapioca pearls in the bottom. When I came home I was determined to find it for sale here. I found two placed, one being the Tea Garden where this one is from. I found out here they call it Bubble Tea.
Week 37
(Sept 10-16)
Harpo has been fond of my growing belly, it hasn't seem to stop him from snuggling up with me. Here we are relaxing in the new recliner in the baby's room and he is napping on my belly. He'll even lay there and feel the baby kicking, doesn't phase him at all. I can't wait for Harpo to get to meet his little brother soon!! I know Harpo's going to love him just as much as he loves us.
Project 52 {weeks 25-28}
Well hello there photo project 52! I have somewhat been neglecting you... I just looked at my list, knowing I had a lot to get caught up on and realized my last posted week was Week 24!!! Although I do have photos identified for 25-28 already, the rest (we're at week 38 now) I do not. So here are my 25-28 photos. I'm going to go through my past photos now and try and get caught up today! You've most likely seen them all as I've been pretty consistent with blogging and taking a picture each week :-)
Week 25
Kyle installing the closet door. We installed all new interior doors this weekend! We didn't get the trim around the doors on yet, but at least the doors are hung :-)
Week 26
I just couldn't help myself :-) I had a heck of a time trying to find a little plain white dog shirt, but alas Ebay to the rescue!!! This iron on was something I found at Michael's.
Week 27
Had a lovely evening walking around Lake Harriet.
Week 28
I had a LONG post about my cloth diaper stash, which has since grown. These are the cloth wipes I made, I think there ended up being a total of almost around 50! I won't be needing many more of these, but luckily these sort of things can be used for wipes, washcloths, burp rags, spit up towels, etc!

Getting caught up {project 52}
Well I think it's about time to get caught up with my project 52 photos. There were a few that I was holding off on for obvious reasons :-)
Photo 11
March 14th I took the first pregnancy test (the top one) then the following morning I took the second! SQUEEEE!
I haven't announced on facebook yet, so please do not post anything on my wall, thanks!
Photo 20
I have sewed quite a few cloth diapers in preparation for the baby, I got some 'practice' (ugly) fabric to start with and will get some nicer funner prints once we find out what it is we're having!
Photo 21
I can't remember if I posted this one yet or not, but this was after a nice long walk to the local Pet Salon to get Harpo's nails trim. He loves walks, poor fellow doesn't get too many, I should really be better about that!
Photo 23
We made a trip home to Missouri for my High School Reunion. I had so many favorites, but just going on photo characteristics I choose this one :-)
Photo 24
Since I haven't been running in the mornings with Sally I have missed seeing all my duck families. (with softball and working out running is taking a backseat until softball is over) Kyle and I searched for baby ducks the weekend we went to the nature center. I was so happy to see this lone fellow when we went to the zoo!

Nature Center & Photo 22
2 Saturday's ago we went to the Nature Center before I had to head to work later that afternoon. Originally we had driven around to a few lakes because I was in search of baby ducks... but we did not find any. Instead I remember a friend of ours telling us about this nature center near by. It actually is quite close to our house! As we pulled up we spotted turkeys!!!
Then we walk down to the lake. We didn't take the trail around the lake, we'll have to come back for that, but we did spot some birds, geese, and a turtle.
Here is the photo I'm using for my 22nd week

16-19 week photos
Week 16
Minneapolis Airport, just enjoying a snack as we wait for our delayed plane to take off for our weekend in Vegas. I loved this little box of Cheez-Its because it was mini!!
Week 17
We spent the beginning of this week in Vegas!! This was probably my favorite part, the Bellagio Fountains! So fun to just stand and watch the water move to the music. the Cirque show we saw that night was pretty amazing as well.
Week 18
We got the remaining five windows replaced in our house. Everything is coming together! We've been taking it room by room, next up is the basement... then that leaves the two bedrooms on the main level, the bathroom, and the kitchen!
Week 19
I love spring! And watching all the little surprises pop up and bring a splash of color into our world which had been white for so many months. I just couldn't believe how big the head of this tulip had gotten. We've had a lot of rain this spring and some storms which blew the tops off of all my flowers shortly after this was taken.
I'm starting week 21 tomorrow, I haven't taken picture 20 off my camera yet, but I'll get caught up soon enough :-)

14/52 & 15/52
I'm trying to get caught up here with my weekly photos. I've taken one each week, but I don't have them all off my camera. I'll get caught up some day :-)
Here is 14/52
This picture has a story to it... I actually had been wanting to take my camera to work to get pictures of the two peanut characters on this campus, before me move over across the river at the end of this month. Well I brought my camera and as I was snapping a picture of Charlie it dawned on me that I think I already captured the two peanuts here. And yup sure enough I got online, checked my website, and there they were. Darn it! But I had my camera with me so I needed to make use of it and get a picture for the week. So as I left work I just got a picture of the sign out front. Yeah real exiting, I know :-P
And you already saw this photo but here it is officially in my project.
Photo 15/52
The early bloomer: Hyacinth. It's such a joy every spring seeing my bulbs pop through the freshly revealed earth (after almost 6 months of being covered in snow). The Hyacinth is always the first pop of color I get to see, after the green leaves of course. This is the third year of enjoying watching this exact flower bloom, aren't plants amazing! And it's always these two in the back that bloom before the hyacinths in a few inches in front of it.

weeks 12 & 13
12/52
We finally got to crack open our first homebrewed beer! It's funny how each bottled tasted differently. Kyle said the first bottle he tasted was one of the last ones that was bottled and that the bottles that were filled in the beginning tasted much better.
13/52
Our snow is finally melting! This is the heap that is on our back deck.

Photo 10/52
My 10th photo of the year comes from our bottling beer experience!
Photo 10/52
I choose this photo for this week because I like the dynamics of the bottles! We spent a lot of time searching for big bottles of beer to purchase so we could reuse them to store our own beer. That front bottle is my favorite because of it's unique shape.

7/52 & 8/52
You know you're behind when you're posting two weeks at once :-P
My week 7 photo comes from our beer brewing experience:
It was hard choosing a photo for this week from our beer brewing processes. But I landed on this one. I picked it because it's well the bulk of the process.... brewing! And I love the foam that formed on the top, reminds of me of a beer right out of the tap. Although we did scoop all that foam out, lol.
And my week 8 is from a wonderful newborn session I did
I was honored to be hired by a friend of mine to take her daughter's newborn photos. She was a precious little one, very in-tuned to what was going on, she didn't want to miss her opportunity to shine. I just love this expression!

6/52
I just talked about my new gadget in my latest blog post. And here is the picture I choose for the week! It was a random thought, as I was having a hard time thinking of what to take a picture of as the week came to a close.... but it works!
