Balos Lagoon Trip - Day 2 (September 20)

Sunday morning (I think - ha you know it's vacation when you have no idea what day of the week it is) Our second full day together, started the morning with my run, went a different route, much better than the cliff behind the house. This was still a little incline but nothing like yesterday. This run was through the olive trees.

Psalm 52:8
But I am like an olive tree, thriving in the house of God. I will always trust in God's unfailing love.

Morning light.

Second morning of yoga. Today's word was Charmolypi Χαρμολυπη
meaning joyful sorrow - holding both emotions at the same time. My journal entry on this day stated:
Feels like I've been here a week, it feels like I've known these ladies for a long time. It feels wonderful. I feel alive. God Thank You for filling me with your breath.

A few of us had massages at the house. There was a flyer for a local massuse who would come to the retreat house.

After the massages me and two other gals went and got some lunch and brought it back to the house. I wanted the grilled octopus that was on their menu but the gal working at the counter was so confused, lol. "Whhhhaattt?!?" maybe she didn't know what I was saying but it was clearly on multiple menus, lol. Settled with a delicious gyro platter.

Down time at the house before we set off at 3:30 for our evening excursion on a catamaran to the lagoon area of Balos. Quick drone flight while we figured out where we needed to go.

The ride got pretty choppy, we started out front, some girls on the nets - they got soaked. It was so funny!

Then I moved up top because even my stomach was starting to churn and we still had quite a ways to go.

Once we turned around this peninsula and in toward the lagoon the waters calmed a bit.

Once we were docked we were able to hop out and swim, explore, and I flew my drone for the amazing views! Thanks to one of the crew man, who saved my drone from almost landing in the water.... I'm not the best drone flyer, lol.

It was an amazing adventure! Here is a video from my GoPro footage:
