Kyle took off work August 2nd. He didn't have much going on and had some vacation to use. So we planned our first family trip to the St Louis Park Aquatic Park. We'd never been, I'd never been brave enough to attempt it on my own with the kids and wasn't ready to, lol. So with two parents I was willing to give it a shot. I didn't get many photos but the kids loved it! They loved the big slides. Thomas loved swimming and the little slide and he loved the sand area.
We ended up going back one evening for their reduced fare at 4pm on August 17th
Mary was brave enough to attempt the diving board (although she wasn't suppose to I forgot they have to be able to swim a length of the pool to do it). She walked out there then turned and jumped off the side back to the wall.... but so proud of her she was so brave!
Mary lost her goggles... she'd already lost one pair in the lake this summer and we were bummed to lose another. BUT as we were leaving I noticed someone hung them on the pole which was right in front of where we were sitting! They weren't lost after all!
