Josh's Visit

Josh came to visit last weekend. It was so great getting to see him and for him to finally meet the girls! Isaac also liked having him around. We picked him and his fiance up from the airport and took them downtown to their hotel. After they got settled Josh came with us while his gal had to stay back for work.

We went to a park to let the kids run around and to try out the new rocket Josh brought Isaac. It was pretty fun.

It was perfect because it kept the girls busy retrieving the foam rockets.


Then we had dinner at World Street Eats, it was AMAZING! They had superb korean BBQ and I had an amazing curry chicken burrito.

Friday was spent at the State Fair.

It was nice being downtown again picking and dropping him off, I forget how close we are to such an amazing city life!

Saturday they did some biking tour while we played at a playground. Then we met up for some more site seeing. Here are the kids at Loring Park:

We had lunch at another amazing place: The Lotus. Kyle used to ride his bike by this place on the way to graduate school and has always wanted to eat there. We finally did and loved it! I of course loved that they had bubble tea!

After a driving tour in the van of St. Paul, Summit and Grand Ave we landed at Minnehaha Falls for a quick hike.

We headed back home where Josh and Stephanie cooked us an amazing meal and then I got the girls down before the sitter came over so we could go out for a little bit of adult only time. We took them to Brit's Pub downtown we were could sit on the rooftop and enjoy the beautiful evening.

All in all it was a wonderful visit and we were so happy to get to see them!
