The girls' birthday fell on Mother's Day this year, so we bumped Mother's Day to celebrate later in the week and celebrated the girls on Sunday. No party for us this year... since 1 we don't know anyone in this town and 2 we're socially distancing due to the corona virus.
I got the house decorated for them the night before.
I had bought this fun balloon garland from a local balloon shop, we were going with a Frozen theme.
Mary loves to go swimming, she doesn't like doing homework, her favorite movie is Decendants 1 and Sonic, favorite book is Berenstain bears and the bad bully, and her favorite food is spaghetti & meatballs and pizza. Her friends listed are Evie and Ellie from her new school.
Emma loves going to the Y, she doesn't like Thomas messing up her toys, her favorite food is jimmy johns, her favorite movie is Descendants 3, and her favorite book is berenstain bears. She listed her friend as Kamora from her new school.
The day was spent opening presents, many dressing changes and playing!
The girls got clip on earrings.
We rented the movie Sonic, which Mary had been begging to watch for a month now. We watched it three times in the next couple days while we had it rented. Kids loved it, cute movie.
Special visit by Grandma Les.
And of course cake and candles

It was a fun day! It's been a big year for the girls. Starting Kindergarten, moving to a new state and school, then having the last fourth of a year doing school at home via distance learning. I'm happy they have each other to play with and while sometimes they fight they are truly the best of friends and love playing with each other. Lately they have loved getting dressed up for dance parties at home.
Here's one we had the other night :-)
