As we prepare to move we are working our way through the deep freeze and freezer. We had a ten pound bag of chicken wings we got at Costco a while ago. We had eaten about two thirds. One being a jerk crockpot chicken recipe and I think the other batch was buffalo or BBQ. We had a third left and I wasn't quite sure what to make of it. I did some searching and threw together this. Amazing part was it was pretty quick. Had the wings thawing in the fridge 1-2 days before.
Placed them in a large pot of water over high heat and brought to a boil. Boiled wings for ten minutes.
Once cooked I moved over to a cookie sheet to cool for just a few minutes so they wouldn't burn the bag. I had prepared the sauce while the wings were cooking. Tossed wings in a bag of:
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
2 Tbsp honey
1 Tbsp lemon juice
Once fully covered, pour out onto a cookie sheet and broil 5-7 minutes per side. My broiler got the ones in the middle really good and not so much the outside so I did longer time with more rearranging to get them browned the way I wanted. I probably should have moved the rack closer.
They were great! And the kids devoured them too! Total time maybe a little more than 30 minutes.
