Saturday night Kyle and I went to see Ed Sheeran play at US Bank Stadium
Openers were Lukas Graham and Myles Smith
Ed came out in the center stage, which was directly behind a pole for our view, but the bridge was super cool that gave him a walkway back to the main stage and he wasn't blocked by a pole there.
Sunday was my birthday, for my 44th year I have made a goal to run a mile everyday. (I mighta allow walking a mile if it comes to that, but so far 9 days later I've ran at least one mile each day)
After my quick run it as time to feed the kids before our trolley tour at 1:00. I had wanted to ride the trolley that goes by our house for a long time, figured if I bought tickets on my birthday then no one could complain :-)
However it was rather a nightmare dealing with them hangry. We waited for about 40 minutes at breakfast club but the wait was getting longer so we left and went down the street because we didn't want to be late for the trolley. Pre food photo... not a keeper.
Alright one more attempt.... finally. (pay no attention to the figure at the bottom of the frame... Kyle just wanted to be a part of it, lol!)
The tour was great, they no longer go by our house. He said the trek all the way around lake of the isles was too much for guests so they shortened it by going down Hennepin then just doing isle for a little bit.
The house hunting was under way. We have pretty specific perimeters, which makes this even more shocking given just in this area the prices are easily $300-800k higher, gulp. Welcome to Edina. This idea of moving wasn't BRAND new because I did go see a house over Father's Day weekend, it's been in the back of our mind for a while given the last three years of driving and more so this past year being the first time all three were back in the same district since 2022. We weren't sure if everyone would land in the Edina school, but here we are and they have. AND all four are in sports which makes it even more beneficial for us to live in the community. So we're biting the bullet, we're saying goodbye to our beloved lakes (for now) our amazing bike trails and running paths, and hello newer house that better fits the needs of our family and hello to walking to school again <3 (well walking to elementary and middle school which is the next 6 years).
