California Day 4 {July 31st - Ranch time and Ostrich farm}

Woke up to the sweet sound of Mick Jaggar crowing at 4:30 am, lol but easily fell back asleep. Heard him again about 6:30. I think I laid in bed a little while longer then eventually woke for the day. The fog in the valley was so cool!

Went up to see the big chicken coop. There is a smaller coop by the AirBnB room with the rooster and 2 smaller hens that were getting picked on in this coop. This coop is up on the hill by the airstream.

Then I went for a run around their "3 miles loop" more like 4 miles, lol. Isaac and Kyle ran the longer 5 mile loop while Josh biked next to them.

Flew my drone then got in the pool with the kids.

For a little fun activity, Josh took us to Ostrich land. It was quite the unique experience. The kids all got bowls of food to feed the ostriches and emus... Thomas dropped his right away due to their aggressive eating, but we got another so he could fully experience the attraction. :-)

It was hot!

We got back in the van and took a little drive out to see Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch. There was a couple of other cars there taking pictures as well.

Took the kids back home and then Josh, Stephanie, Kyle and I went across the highway to a vineyard. There are TONS of vineyards in this area. We missed the tasting time, but just got a bottle and had an adult conversation.

That evening we had dinner at home, made some 'smores outside and watched a rocket take off.

We had talked about driving closer to see it (about a half hour drive) but they kept changing the time and it would have been late. So we decided to just watch from their house. It was the Starlink 17-52 satellite SpaceX launch.
