December 2024

Trip to como zoo on December 7th. We hadn't been there in a while.

Cold night to see the holiday train drive through St. Louis Park. Isaac had a workout at tria which was close to here. Thomas was hanging out in the van he didn't want to get out.

Working on his kiwi crate building project from grandma.

For Isaac's birthday we took him and some friends to an escape room.

We got Mary a cello and she started taking private lessons to prepare for 6th grade orchestra.

Kyle's birthday dinner out... we decided to take the kids with us, however next time we'll make it a date night just the two of us as you can read from Thomas's apology note below.

December 20th we went to experience the new Holidazzle downtown. We did their free mini-golf

And explored the outdoor light displays.

They also had roller skating but we didn't have the girls skates so we came back the next night for skating. This was that day during school, Emma got to dress up as the woodchuck.

Finally getting to ice fish!

And the kids even played in the snow. We didn't get a ton of snow this winter.

Thomas missed out on ski lessons last year because of his broken arm so signed him up for lessons over Christmas break. The big kids came later in the day to use their free passes from the previous year.

Thomas had 3 downhill lessons that week. I think the big kids came once.
