July!

I have some MAJOR catching up to do so these next few are just going to be a big photo dump of photos from the summer.

First week of July

Bikeway flooding, tennis (Thomas), Daves hot chicken, Oakley's first dog park experience, collecting veggies and weeding at the school garden, bike rides to Sebastian joe's (ice cream), and more high water with some tipped over trees because the ground is so soft.

2nd week of July
Walk to the beach to cool off, mom's morning swim with the masters group, lots of baseball happening when it wasn't raining.
This week Mary was in a dog training camp with Oakley, Thomas did a camp at the school near our house, and Emma was in gymnastics camp.

Third week of July
From the looks of these first two photos Thomas and Emma probably came down with the covid I had.

Illness didn't prevent me from getting in my triathlon training and capturing beautiful photos of nature. I only had a fever for 24 hours so glad it wasn't long lasting.

The next week the girls' friends from Wichita were in the area for a soccer tournament it was so great for them to reach out and let us know. We were able to come see her for an afternoon visit.

Then we went back to their hotel and the girls got to swim with them for a bit.

July 20th, Kyle and I snagged last minute tickets to an outdoor concert via a neighbor looking to off load their tickets.

The final week of July was Camp GOTR week! I volunteered to coach this camp again like last summer and the girls attended.

The theme was emotions and they here is what they made for their art walk the last day:

Mom is enjoying outdoor swimming at 6am.

Isaac finished up July ball.

Thomas's baseball was also wrapping up.

Trees continue to fall over.

Trip to water parks: Edina Aquatic

Letting Oakley experience the lake, he wasn't a fan when it got deep but enjoyed jumping in the shallow end. I had participated in an evening open water swim.

July finished with a week at All Sports Camp. I drove some friends, long rides home in rush hour traffic, but the kids had fun!
