Happy Birthday Thomas!

Oakley was so excited for us to be home from our trip. He did great at the boarding place and we picked him up just in time to experience his insane shedding episode - probably from being about 6 months old.

I had kind of set the cake bar a little high for myself moving forward after making the girls squish mallow cakes. I had a LOT of yellow fondant left over so decided to use it for Thomas's cake.

I decided to do a rainbow cake for him. He didn't really care for the cake but it sure was pretty!

And just like the girls cakes when you shape them you have lots of extra stuff left over which makes excellent cake pops (and I think we all actually liked the cake pops more than the cake - they are dipped in melted chocolate).

Happy 7th Birthday!

A new iPad cover and baseball cards.

For his birthday we biked to a twins game downtown. This was the last trip on the good ol' cargo bike. I thought I was going to DIE! I actually felt super weak on the way there with him in tow and just thought I was weak... turns out I had covid and came down with a fever AT the game. Not the most fun of a time, and sucks for anyone around me - I must have got covid on the plane home from Vegas (along with tons of other as it made the news of the large outbreak in Arizona and Nevada)

We are in the phase of crazy faces:

Thomas loves baseball so this was a great way to celebrate his birthday.

Time for cake and ice cream at home.
