First week of March

Thomas loves reading, he's already reading some which is crazy, but it appears he is taking after his older brother. He's been requesting to read these chapter books: The Magic Treehouse series.

The school had a week long celebration for Dr. Seuss's birthday week. I couldn't let Thing 1 and Thing 2 day go by without having the girls participate, but of course I waited until the last minute to get something made. Found some headbands at the local party city, then made patches to pin on red shirts.

Here are photos from the very first time they were Thing 1 & Thing 2 :0)

Their teacher sent me this from school:

That evening we made a trip to the Exploration Trip, really getting use out of that membership :-)

Mary lost her Second tooth on March 5th.

And we got a family bike ride in on Saturday, March 6th. Rode to the tea house to pick up some tea for Kyle.

Sunday we drove all the way out to Augusta (about 20 miles East of Wichita) to this park I'd read about. Crazy how this nice park is literally in the middle of this dinky town. We like finding spots that make us feel like we aren't in Kansas, and this was one of them. It was more of a big kid park. Thomas was napping when we arrived then was venters and explored the high climbing area. The bigger kids LOVED this park.

They had a cool zip line

Monday night Thomas got a quick haircut. Mondays are our 1:1 nights while the other guys are at their BSF (Bible Study Fellowship).

We were boarding Harpo soon, so had to take him in to get some shots. It was a windy day and this reminded me a time of when he was a puppy and we were up on the Duluth shore line. I have a similar picture of him as a pup with the wind blowing his fur! <3

Thomas loves his Thursday class. He does preschool Monday, Wednesday, Friday and goes to a different class on Thursday - same building but to distinguish it from those days it's been named "My Thursday Class" :-)
