Bike Update & September stuff

Let's see, it's been a while since I blogged so I have some catching up to do. I left it last with our new bike, but we didn't have all the parts just yet. We bought the bike on a Thursday, drove it to get a tune up, picked it up on Saturday. I had ordered a seat but it didn't arrive until Wednesday I think it was.

The seat is for Thomas to ride in, they recommend babies ride in it until age 4... which seems like a while but I know we will for sure use it next summer and maybe the summer after. Until he's old enough to sit on the seat and no chance of falling asleep on a ride.

He loved it! I gave the kids a ride around the block, first the girls with Thomas and then Isaac with Thomas. This is going to be fun to have next summer.

That evening we had Isaac's soccer, it was a beautiful fall evening.

Back track a couple days to Sunday (September 23rd) I went into work, but Kyle took the kids to the Washburn games. It was a fun field day event with all sorts of sports. Isaac LOVED it! The girls enjoyed it too but got bored of it pretty quick. I met them there after work and got to see them run the end 'mile' run. Isaac ran the whole thing and it was so adorable to see Mary run off. Emma was melting down at that point as she was hungry and tired. There was ice cream waiting at the end for the race finishers.

Here's a couple random pictures from ECFE (Early Childhood Family Education). I did this class with all the kids so I was excited to get Thomas in it. It's fun to do something just for him. He still doesn't quite get it's for him and wants to run off into the background and play by himself, much like he does at home.
