Thomas turns 8!

Thomas's birthday was on a Monday. We went out to dinner the night before - his choice of Benihana. 

He got to open a present that night. He opened a bundle of Flash socks. This was the summer of FLASH! We watched a lot of the 9 seasons on Netflix all summer. 

So we went with a Flash theme. :-P 

 

We went to the beach and paddle boarded. Thomas and I went out on the boards together (no photos) and then the girls went out together. 

 

I remember Thomas loved snorkeling in Hawaii we should go snorkeling again sometime. He had a baseball game that evening so we did a little more present opening. 

And cake! He wanted an ice cream cake (this one was from Dairy Queen)

  

He played another season with St. Louis Park Little League - machine pitch. 

 

After his game we traveled to Edina for Isaac's baseball game. 

Thomas is goofy, loving, and cuddly. He loves to LOVE things! Baseball, Minecraft, reading. He's currently into reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid, building in Minecraft and checking in on baseball stats. We just learned that he is getting put into accelerated math at school (writing this blog post in September). He has a great memory for remembering friends' names.

Have to throw in a photo today, his smile is looking MUCH different without those front teeth (and he has an expander he got at the end of August to help make some space in his mouth).
