April 2025

Guess what, school's back in session. And I still have a goal to keep this blog up to date. Not getting to photo books so that's what this is :-) Here is last April, not quite six months later.

This photo was actually from March, but Mary had a llama visit their school.

Kyle ran the Goldy Run 10 mile on April 6th

Oakley and I were also doing lots of running preparing for a 10 mile I am doing mid-May.

April 11th coloring eggs for Easter.

I got free tickets to a twins game on April 12th, however Mary had volleyball and Emma had a birthday party to attend to so while I drove them around the boys attended the game. I was able to join them for a couple innings before needing to leave to pick up one of the girls.

The next day we had tickets to the orchestra, we were mainly wanting to go because Mary had started getting into playing the cello... however she was home sick. So it was just the 5 of us that attended.

More running with Oakley.

Girls on the run practice:

April 17th we took a family trip to the MiA I was teaching all the kids' art adventures and came to see some of the work I would be talking about.

We had a batch of baby bunnies in our backyard! They were in the planter. We kept an eye on them and made sure Oakley left them alone. it was fun to watch them grow as we approached Easter.

Speaking of Easter the girls did the annual egg hunt at our former neighborhood's front yard. And church photos from earlier that morning.

Thomas did flag football and Kyle coached. Mary dove into ice skating.

Oakley getting loved on by the kids.

And April 24th girls girls performed with their 'orchestra' group at school before one of the lower grades' music performance. Very small group of strings.
