Lake Day with Friends 2015

Last Saturday we attended a second annual lake day hosted by some great friends for our 'old newly married' group. Our friend's parents have a lake house less than an hour outside of the cities so it was a great sameday get-away.

We arrived and the girls finished up their McDonald's hotcakes breakfast




The morning was fairly overcast but that didn't prevent us from having a good time. Of course all the kids loved the swing!








They had a paddle board which was super fun to go out on! Isaac got a ride with Enoch


Isaac picked me a flower out on his paddleboard trip.


As you can see it was kinda drizzly right before lunch, but that didn't stop anyone from getting in the water.










Isaac went out on the paddle-board again with Kyle.


Then there was a couple of board rides. Kyle and I stayed back this time and Isaac got to go.

Then it was lunch time. We all brought our own meat then side dishes to share. 



The sun eventually came out and it was a beautiful afternoon.

I took Isaac and Emma out on the paddle-board. Emma loved it, almost put her to sleep.


It was a long day, but super fun. The kids crashed on the way home and we picked up dinner at Applebees since we were too tired to cook dinner as well. So thankful for friends with lake houses, made our summer!
