Just wanted to share some videos from today.

Wanted to document his walking skills. He reminds me of a guy tring to walk the tight rope, lol.


He LOVES Harpo's bed(s).


Here he is playing with Harpo. Harpo is such a good boy and knows the difference between his toys and Isaac's toys. He's never tried to play with Isaac's toys, but he still likes to play with his own :-)

Isaac is 11 months

I turned another month old on Sunday. I can't believe one year is just around the corner. Not sure what or if we are doing anything for his birthday. Just might have a quiet little celebration at home.

He's changed a LOT the past few months, crazy how these stages are so short. He's walking now, standing up on his own in the middle of the room. He loves to clap and sing, his favorite song is probably "if you're happy and you know it clap your hands". He LOVES books as well, his favorite book right now is a Duck & Goose Pumpkin book and any of the flap/puzzle books. He loves knobs and light switches, and opening and closing cabinets/cubbies. And he also grinds his teeth :-/ all six of them. No sign of any more at this time. He also had his second cold the past few weeks. He's still at two naps a day, although every once in a while he'll just have one.

That's all that comes to mind for now, he's growing up and getting more independent every day {sniff, sniff}

Harpo turns 6

I can't believe Harpo is already turning six! Of course we had to get some birthday pictures. The birthday hat actually ran out of numbers after 5, so I had to make my own number 6 :-)

Halloween

Today was Isaac's first halloween. It wasn't the best of days since he is getting over a stinky cold, but we tried to make the best of it. We painted pumpkins with some edibile paint. Well we tried. He wasn't really into it. And when I had taken him to the bathroom to get him ready for a bath, I came back to find Harpo had licked off all the paint we put on the larger pumpkin!

He did like his costume though :-)

We waited for trick or treat'ers, which we didn't really have very many.

of course after we had been standing at the door for a while and Isaac was nearing the end of his rope, we took our costumes off and starting thinking about heading to bed... THEN all the trick-or-treaters came! lol 

More soup

Wow it's been a while since I have posted. We have lots of excitement happening, he started walking a couple weeks ago, actually Oct 17th. And since those first steps he is becoming quite good, Ahhh watch out. Today he was getting good standing when he fell forward on his hands and standing from a squat.

He was sick this past weekend, yesterday being the worst of the cold/stuffy nose. But today he seems to be on the up swing and much happier! Tomorrow will be his first Halloween so I will have to post our costumes.

In the mean time, just wanted to share pictures from tonight's dinner: we tackled the bread bowl :)

They usually get jumbled out of order and if I can remember I will get on the computer later to re-order them.
