October 2024 Part One

Getting caught up one month at a time. I think I can... I think I can... I think I can...

First pic to start us off is of me and a couple of my swimming buddies. I swim with a masters group at 6 in the morning at a pool about 10 minutes from my house in a high school. We have to get out of the building before the school day starts.

Girls on the Run!

With the kids being in two different school districts this year there are all these random days when two have off while the other two are still in school. October 3rd was one of those. The girls and I biked to get puppy dog tails and donuts.

Middle School car pool pick up!

Oakley's halloween costume came. And so did Thomas's.

Morning run views:

Football continues.

My head shots for the website at the yoga studio where I teach barre classes.

Marathon weekend! The marathon goes right by our house so it's fun to get out and celebrate them. This is about mile 3.

My friend Jana!

I printed off heavy duty vinyl numbers for the yoga studio. Hoping these last longer than the sticker had been. So far so good!

Sun isn't up as early as I need to get a run in.

He so much calmer on days we run.

Tree is up EARLY! So we decorated for Halloween... which is also why our costume theme this year will be Nightmare Before Christmas. Costco had trees for sale so we got it and I didn't want to haul it downstairs just to bring it back up in a month.

Loving my new e-bike!

GIRLS ON THE RUN:

Pencil decorated for halloween.

School's fall party.

And the last football game for the season, brought out my nice camera.

We don't really let Oakley roam the house, he is mainly blocked off to the back of the house (and not upstairs where there is carpet) since he sheds it helps keep the cleaning manageable for me. But this was a special time that I let him lay up front with me while I sat by the fire and did my bible study.

September 2024!

Ahh september, back to routines. School is back in session the air is getting cooler. The girls started the day after Labor Day so it felt great to have everyone back in school.

Isaac's football games kicked off.

Oakley loves chasing dogs at the dog park and he's my running buddy.

September 7th we attended a special night at the Saints baseball field, it was LEASH night. So dog night or anything that goes on a leash. We saw some cats and a goat.

Girls on the Run started up! Our 5th season.

Morning views on a run.

Thomas lost a bottom tooth!

And made an appearance in the school weekly email.

The boys had a boys night at a Twins game with a friend.

Playdoh!

Circus to the dog park! Mary on skates, Emma on the bike, and me on the scooter getting pulled by Oakley. Quite the sight.

September 19th Isaac got his top braces on. This is phase 2. He had about 18 months of braces when we were in Kansas.

Got my haircut! Oh and I started teach barre! View on the drive home from swimming one morning

Peace circle at the girls' school on Sept 20th World Peace day.

Kenwood event.

More football.

THIS is the damage Oakley did to my photos from the Grand Canyon. I tried sending it off for recovery but they wanted almost a thousand dollars after the first attempt to retrieval failed.

I got to go with Thomas's class on a field trip to Gibb's Farm. It was so fun! We learned all about the Dakota history.

This was pretty cool, I liked the names of all the moons.

Late game, just Kyle there but he capture Isaac catching the ball:

We started a tradition in August, I take Thomas to school and Isaac has another ten minutes til I can drop him off, well the last Friday of the month we go get donuts in that time frame. Today is February 28th and this tradition has been something Isaac looks forward to all month.

Another video of Isaac catching the ball:

That sums of September!
